ISI Hellas joins up with Lockheed Martin UK for iSMART in Greece
Athens, Greece – ISI Hellas has announced its selection by Lockheed Martin UK to provide promotion, marketing and support of its interoperable Systems Management and Requirements Transformation (iSMART) process and eSMART toolset for any military applications in Greece.
The iSMART process is an internationally-accepted means of achieveing visibility of interoperability challenges, in the development of information systems and communication media, including tactical data links. It provides analysis of interoperability across operational and strategic data communications systems and down to the tactical edge (the warfighter level).
iSMART uses a systems engineering approach to achieving cost-effective interoperability and is currently the process of choice of, (amongst others) the USA, UK, Australia, the Netherlands, Norway, Switzerland and Sweden.
Commenting on the partnership, Mr. David K. Rowles, iSMART Programme Manager at Lockheed Martin UK, said: ‘ISI Hellas has been a long-standing partner of Lockheed Martin UK, in Greece. We appreciate their experience in this domain and look forward to working with them to promote the adoption of the iSMART process in country.’

ISI Hellas is engaged in the design, development, integration, installation, testing, and follow-on support of software intensive Tactical Command, Control and Communications Systems (C3I), Data Link and Interoperability Solutions and Simulators for Testing and Training purposes.
