SPAWAR Awards ISI Hellas a Contract for a Transportable Universal
Link System
Athens, Greece, 22 February 2008
Interoperability Systems International Hellas S.A. (ISI Hellas) announced that it has been awarded a contract to provide a Transportable Universal Link System (ULS) with Link 11 software to the US Navy Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) System Center, Charleston, South Carolina (SSCC). The ULS will be used as a reference system for Command and Control (C2) systems SSCC is currently building, opportunities may be expanded to include additional Tactical Data Links in the future. “ISI Hellas considers this a significant milestone for our ULS product line and looks forward to future cooperation with SSCC in providing Tactical Data Link solutions”, said Dimitris Karantzavelos, General Manager of ISI Hellas.
The ULS is a versatile Multi-link Gateway and is in service, in various configurations in several countries around the world. The system can host multiple network links, Link 11 (TADIL A), Link 16 TADIL J), IJMS simultaneously as well as multiple combinations of NATO Link 1, Link 11B (TADIL B), ADTL-1 and JREAP B and C.
SSCC is a world leader in providing US Navy, US Department of Defense and Allied partners Command and Control (C2) solutions with a special emphasis on interoperability. SSCC has a proven track record of integrating multiple best of breed systems, such as ISI’s ULS, and integrating them into a seamless C2 system that meets all customer requirements.
ISI Hellas is engaged in the design, development, integration, installation, testing, and follow on support of software intensive Tactical Command, Control and Communications Systems (C3I), Data Link and Interoperability Solutions and Simulators for Testing and Training purposes.
